Step by step
- Open Service → Dispatch & schedule. Use ‹ Today › to move through time and the switch at the top for Month, Week, Day, Dispatch or Shifts. Network opens the project CPM schedule.
- Month, Week and Day show events and the tasks that are due. Click an empty hour to add an event, drag an event to another day or time to move it, or use “+ New event” and “+ Task”.
- Dispatch is a week grid with one row per tech. Drag a job from the Unscheduled list on the right onto a tech and a day to schedule and assign it in one move; drag a scheduled job between cells to change the day or the tech.
- If the tech is already booked that day, is on approved time off, or is busy in a connected Google Calendar, a warning pops up. It is advisory — the move is still saved, so move it back if it does not work.
- Shifts plans who works when and where: Month, Week or Day, for All, Workers or Office. Drag shifts between people and days, then Publish to notify staff; Copy last week and Copy → next repeat a week, and Roles sets the shift types. Conflicts (double-booked or on time off) are outlined in red, and staff confirm their shifts in the phone app.
- Requests opens a side panel with New requests, Reschedules, Online bookings and jobs Awaiting confirm; “Queue →” opens the full list for each.
- “🖨 Print day” prints the daily dispatch sheet; on Shifts, “🖨 Print” prints the weekly staff schedule.
Tip: On Dispatch, drag a job from Unscheduled onto a tech’s row and day to date and assign it in one move.
Note: Booking warnings are advisory — the change is saved either way.
